How does Bocouture work?

Treatment Details
Bocouture should only be applied on patients by qualified medical professionals. The amount and method used will depend on the location and severity of the area to be corrected. For periorbital lines or crow’s feet, the powder is reconstituted and afterwards will be injected bilaterally into three different sites. The first is around 1cm lateral from the bony orbital rim. The other two are then targeted at about 1cm above and below the first injection.
How long does it last?
The actual duration of effects is highly dependent upon the lifestyle and physiology of the patient. However, it has been noted that it can last for 3 to 5 months after injection.
Safety Information
Although this product is generally safe to use on patients, and the material it is based on has been FDA approved for decades, there are certain patients who should not use it. This includes those who:
- Have pre-existing neuromuscular disorders
- Hypersensitivity to any of the components

Recovery Time
Patients are advised to not use makeup on the targeted area for the next few days, and no overexposure to the sun as well. Skin hygiene should still be maintained though, and alcoholic beverages and intensive sports should be put on hold for at least 3 days. Extreme temperatures should also be avoided for up to 15 days after operation.
Cost of Bocouture
Bocouture has comes in two different units, one in 50 units and the other has 100 units. The former averages for around $130 and the latter for around $240 for one vial.
