Ailments Treated with Jaydess

How does Jaydess work?

This intrauterine delivery system, also known as an IUS, is a product that consists of a pale yellow to white drug core, which is also covered with an opaque-like membrane. It is mounted on top of the vertical stem of the T-body, which will also contain a silver ring close to where the horizontal arms meet. Jaydess works by lessening the growth of the womb lining observed every month. It will also make the cervical mucus less thick, and all of these combined will prevent the sperm and the egg from joining, thereby avoiding the fertilization of the egg altogether.

Treatment Details

The T-body is loaded into the insertion tubing arms folded, with the solid white rod attached into the bottom of it. It is advanced to a point where the rod actually touches the bottom of the IUD itself. The insertion tube should be help open and the blue flange ensured that it is level to where the uterus sounds. The arms of the IUD should be parallel to the long axis of the blue flange. The loaded tube should then be passed through the cervical canal, until resistance is met. The tube should then be withdrawn approximately 1cm and then the IUD is released. The white rod should then be gently removed, followed by the tube. The excess thread should be cut, with only 3cm visibly extending from the external cervical os.

How long does Jaydess last?

The product prevents pregnancy for 3 years.
